Mount Kanchenjunga, the second highest Himalaya peak of Nepal, also the Mt. K2 in the world, can be climbed in the company of Galaxy Adventure. Located at the eastern part of Nepal, the mountain’s name “Kanchenjunga” meaning “The Five Treasures of the Great Snows” namely, Kanchenjunga I (8586m), Kanchenjunga West (8505m), Kanchenjunga South (8494m) and Kangbachen (7903m) is a sacred treasure to capture in Nepal. These five peaks represent the five repositories of God – gold, silver, gems, grain, and holy books.
The mountain was first climbed by Joe Brown and George Band, of a British expedition team in 1995. Kanchenjunga is an enormous mountain mass and many other peaks arise from its narrow icy ridges. The climb is a technical one as it’s an intricate mixed rock and ice climb. As the climbing to Kanchenjunga takes you to the pristine beauty, mystery and charm of nature, you will be experiencing the height of adventure in Kanchenjunga Expedition.
Kanchenjunga Conservation Area Project runs here by World Wildlife Fund in association with Government of Nepal are the home to Red Panda and other animals, birds and plants. It comprises of protected Khangchendzonga National Park.
The climbing route to Kanchenjunga starts from Suketar to Base camp. The remoteness and cultures preserved in the area and the endemic flora including 30 varieties of rhododendrons and 69 varieties of orchids are flawlessly beautiful. The climbing begins as you head up from the Base Camp at 5180m. The first challenge would be to fix lines up 900 m of intricate mixed climbing to the North col. In the company of Sherpa, we move further to North Ridge and climb at a slow pace higher up. It comes with no doubt that Kanchenjunga Expedition is a complete satisfying climb for the expert Climbers as you become a part of remarkable history.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. Elevation: 1350m
Day 02-03: Preparation for Climbing and Detailed Describing about our Expedition.
Day 04: Fly from Kathmandu to Biratnagar. Elevation: 2300m.
Day 05: Trek to Phurumbu. Elevation: 921m. Trekking: 4 hrs. Overnight: Camp
Day 06: Trek to Chirwa. Elevation: 1270m Trekking: 5 hrs. Overnight: Camp
Day 07: Trek to Sekarthum. Elevation: 1660m. Trekking: 6 hrs. Overnight: Camp
Day 08: Trek to Amje Lhasa. Elevation: 2510m. Trekking: 5 hrs. Overnight: Camp
Day 09: Trek to Gyabla. Elevation: 3450m. Trekking: 6 hrs. Overnight: Camp
Day 10: Trek to Ghunsa. Elevation: 3595m. Trekking: 5 hrs. Overnight: Camp

Day 15: Rest Day at Pangpema and necessary Preparation
Day 16-45: Climbing Period to Kanchenjunga 8586m summit
Day 46: Preparation for returning and cleaning Base Camp
Day 47: Trek from Kanchenjunga Base Camp to Lonak. Elevation: 4785m. Trekking: 5 hrs. Overnight: Camp
Day 48: Trek to Khambachen. Elevation: 4095m. Trekking: 5 hrs. Overnight: Camp.
Day 49: Trek to Ghunsa. Elevation: 3595m. Trekking: 4 hrs. Overnight: Camp
Day 50: Trek to Sekarthum. Elevation: 1660m. Trekking: 6 hrs. Overnight: Camp

Day 54: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu; Shopping Souvenirs; Farewell Dinner and overnight in the hotel
