Beginning its life in Tibet BhoteKoshi roars its way into Nepal through some of the most breathtaking valleys and gorges you will ever see. If you are a beginner, adrenaline junky or on a tight schedule this package can give you a tons of adrenaline rush on a short period of time It is a very steep and very continuous mountain stream, a combination of fun and excitement and surrounded by mountains forests and waterfalls. From the mountain Shisa Pangma (the 10th highest mountain in the world) the glacier waters roar down in to Nepal. It is a challenging and enthralling water trip which gives the rafter an experience of rafting in whitewater in this wonderful country, Nepal. With class IV and Class V rapids on higher levels and class III rapids on the lower levels, Bhotekoshi River flows through narrow canyons with cascading waters and chutes of foams. The BhoteKoshi River has it all, breathtaking scenery, thrilling drops, deep gorges and amazing lime stone formations. Beginning near the Tibet border this trip allows you to take in the stunning beauty of the areas as well as take part in other activities at the last resort like cannoning, mountain bike riding and of course the Bungee Jump.

Itinerary Detail
Day 1:Drive to Lomosangu-Dam
Drive to Lomosangu-Dam from Kathmandu which is 95 km east. This is a spectacular drive through villages and if weather permits, you will have fantastic mountain views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang and many more. We raft the first 10 km of the most exciting stretch of the river and then return to the start to play again the same stretch the next day rather than continue with only half a day paddling to the end. Drive back to our camp.
Day 2: Rafting
After breakfast a quick pack up and set out (approx. 9 to 10 a.m.), we again hit the white water with a grade 3 rapid starting from upper section. You have the second chance to show how your raft team can work well together in challenging rapids. We have lunch on the river and continue the action until we reach the take out point at Dolalghat Bazaar around 2 to 3 p.m. and take a bus back to Kathmandu. End of the trip.
